Knight Build Limited having become a member of the Prince's Trust in 2011 ands partaking in a number of charity events, decided to raise the bar and in partnership with the Prince's Trust actually help young people to get employed.

Palace to Palace Bike Ride
Knight Build Ltd raises £5,000 for the Prince’s Trust charity.
On Sunday 14th October 2012 a team of 15 riders including our Managing Director Mr John Knight joined others to take part in the Palace to Palace bike ride. A spokes person from the Prince’s Trust commented

Sunday June 24: Knight Build Limited entered a team of six runners whom participated in a 10K Run through the scenic village of Horndon-on-the-Hill, Essex. The team were running in support and recognition of the Princes Trust and in doing so helped raise awareness of the cause and £487 in sponsorship.

Fun Run Team: Fegan Shane, Tomaz Zeliszewski, Shannon Pearse, Sean Clift, Ion Chris, Ruta Petrauskaite.

As part of our ongoing committment to Corporate Social Responsibility, we are proud to have joined the Prince's Trusts Construction and Business Services Leadership Group; a collective of construction and business services companies committed to transforming young lives with The Prince’s Trust. Our commitment to the group will help drive forward this work in the communities in which we operate.
The Construction and Business Services Leadership Group was formed in 2006 by leading construction firms and industry leaders who wanted to tackle disadvantage by enabling disadvantaged young people to move towards careers in the industry.
Since then the group has had huge success raising over £2.5m and delivering over 170 programmes which have helped over 2,000 young people build better lives. These programmes really work with over 3 in 4 moving into further training or employment.
The Prince’s Trust focuses on disadvantaged young people that may have struggled at school, been in care, be long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law and helps them get their lives started. Knight Build Limited donates a 16-seat mini-bus to Ursuline Preparatory School, Warley, Essex.

The Bus will be used to transport children to sporting and other activities

Head teacher, Mrs Wilson, said she was overwhelmed by the generosity of Knight Build Limited and that the new minibus would be a great asset to all pupils and staff.

Knight Build Commercial Director, Mr Brad Pearse took part in Movember and raised almost £900 for this Men's Health Awareness Charity.

The month formerly known as November, (Movember) is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men's health.

Edwards Hall - Year 5 Pipe Dream Project: Knight Build was approached to assist the children of Year 5, complete their Pipe Dream project as part of a collaborative schools learning project. The school required a concrete pipe measuring 1m diameter x 2m in length to be embedded into the playground area.

The Pipe is a time tunnel playground feature which the children decorated in mosaic fashion with ceramic tiles they had made and was painted on the inside - to give the impression of a time tunnel, leading from the main playground area, to the school's WW II Bunker and Kitchen Garden area.

Knight Build Limited took part in the Little Britain 2008 Gold Cup Sailing event in Cowes for the first time and Knight Build Limited managed to win 4th place.

Over the past 21 years, Little Britain has donated well over £1m to sailing charities helping disadvantaged or disabled people experience the world of sailing.

Knight Build Limited raised £30,000.00 by hosting a Charity Golf Tournament in support of Tilly's medical and surgical needs.

The Tilly Appeal Fund was set up by Tilly's parents - Tilly was born with a rare genetic disorder which has severely debilitated her life in many ways - treatments to improve her quality of life as well as prolong it, is only available to her in the USA.
