Policy on BREEAM
Knight Build Limited fully support the Government's introduction of regulations that from 1st May 2008 it has been mandatory for all new buildings to be rated against the Code for Sustainable Buildings.
Knight Build Limited's policy is based on Part 3 of BES 5058: Issue 1.0 published by BRE Global Limited in 2009, which provides a framework for the assessment and evaluation of management policies, procedures and practices related to the activities that are being carried out in the building that is to be assessed. The code is an environmental assessment method for new buildings and contains mandatory performance levels in 8 key areas.
The Code aims to protect the environment by providing guidance on the construction of high performance buildings, built with sustainability in mind.
