October 2012 Knight Build Ltd raises £5,000 for the Prince’s Trust charity. On Sunday 14th October 2012 a team of 15 riders including our Managing Director MR John Knight joined others to take part in the Palace to Palace bike ride. A spokes person from the Prince’s Trust commented“The Palace to Palace team would like to thank Knight Build Limited for raising £5,000 in sponsorship. We are so grateful for your fundraising efforts – well done!

MARCH 2012 Knight Build Limited has achieved a high score beyond compliance and has shown consistent improvement and dedication to the Considerate Constructors’ Scheme, in sites where we are the principle contractor.

FEBRUARY 2012 Knight Build Limited achieve a Rating during recent Achilles 2-day Audit. Phillip Foster, Director of Construction at Achilles states, being one of the first accredited companies to achieve the five-star rating is an achievement we only expect the top 5% of accredited companies to achieve.

JANUARY 2012 Knight Build Limited membership to the Prince's Trust Construction and Business Services Leadership Group, published in the news section on the Prince's Trust website. We are very proud to be part of this group - a collective of construction and business services companies committed to transforming young lives with The Prince’s Trust. Our commitment to the group will help drive forward this work in the communities in which we operate. The Construction and Business Services Leadership Group was formed in 2006 by leading construction firms and industry leaders who wanted to tackle disadvantage by enabling disadvantaged young people to move towards careers in the industry. Since then the group has had huge success raising over £2.5m and delivering over 170 programmes which have helped over 2,000 young people build better lives. These programmes really work with over 3 in 4 moving into further training or employment. The Prince’s Trust focuses on disadvantaged young people that may have struggled at school, been in care, be long-term unemployed or have been in trouble with the law and helps them get their lives started.
